This blog offers parents solutions to improve their children’s creativity. You might be thinking that your child’s imagination is too creative and you don’t need these solutions, but before you click away, did you know that as your child grows older their ability to think creatively reduces. In a study of children aged 5, 10 and 15, under 10% of children in the 15 year old age range had a high level of creativity. In the 5 year old range, over 60% did.
Without strong creative thinking skills, children limit their possibilities in life. We certainly feel tha if we had been equipped with creative thinking skills, we would have been more confident to explore, experiment and take more risks in our younger years.
This blog helps you and your child to play using stuff that are lying around your home that can be used to help both of you answer the question: what if? With practice, your child will develop life long skills that will remain with them as they age, and as a result, their confidence will develop to explore beyond what the majority believe is impossible.
We hope you and your child have fun together.
